FOR ASSOCIATIONS, NGOS & FOUNDATIONS

Volunteers deserve good tools.

Associations and non-profit organizations work with volunteers and sensitive data. We set up secure IT and use suitable vendor offers.

NON-PROFITS & ASSOCIATIONS / STARTING POINT

What shapes
your everyday work.

  • 01

    Many hands, little structure

Volunteers come and go. Private devices and shared passwords quickly become the norm.

  • 02

    Data that carries weight

Member and donor data, sometimes including information on health or beliefs, requires particular care.

  • 03

    Every euro counts

Licenses and hardware have to fit the budget without cutting corners on security.

NON-PROFITS & ASSOCIATIONS / YOUR BENEFIT

What you
gain.

  • 01

    Use licenses wisely

Review vendor offers for non-profits and use them appropriately.

  • 02

    Involve volunteers securely

Grant access to volunteers in an orderly way and revoke it again.

  • 03

    Protect donor data

Manage member and donor data with clear permissions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answered
briefly.

Do nonprofit organizations get Microsoft 365 at a lower price?

Microsoft provides verified nonprofit organizations with up to 300 Microsoft 365 Business Basic licenses as a grant and offers discounts on other plans. Microsoft checks whether your organization is eligible during registration; we help with selection and setup.

How do we involve volunteers securely?

With individual accounts instead of shared passwords, groups with clear permissions, and access that ends at a defined point in time.

Do we have to report donations electronically?

If your organization receives tax-deductible donations, you transmit them via FinanzOnline, provided donors have given their first and last name and date of birth. Your tax advisor handles the tax advice; we make sure your data and backups are in good order.
