FOR CARE & SOCIAL SERVICES

Care needs hands. Not hurdles.

Care homes, mobile services and social institutions document around the clock. We ensure available systems, protected data and managed devices.

CARE & SOCIAL SERVICES / STARTING POINT

What shapes
your everyday work.

  • 01

    Documentation is mandatory

Nursing history, nursing diagnosis, care planning and interventions must be documented. If the system fails, the shift loses its overview.

  • 02

    On the road with people

Mobile services work with smartphones and tablets in people’s homes, not always with a stable connection.

  • 03

    Shift work and handovers

Many people share devices and workstations. Sign-in and permissions still need to remain personal.

CARE & SOCIAL SERVICES / YOUR BENEFIT

What you
gain.

  • 01

    Documentation available

Operate care documentation and specialist software with coordinated recovery.

  • 02

    Work securely on the move

Manage the company phones and tablets of mobile care centrally.

  • 03

    Relieve teams

Clear access, personal sign-in and training for changing shifts.

SERVICES & SCOPE

Responsibility starts with clarity.

We clarify in advance which services make sense, who is responsible for what and how you can tell that progress is being made.

  • Operation of care documentation and specialist software
  • Mobile devices for mobile services
  • WLAN in residential areas and wards
  • Backup and contingency planning
  • Security awareness for care teams

FRAMEWORK & OBLIGATIONS

What laws and
standards require.

General guidance with sources, as of October 2026. It does not replace legal advice; the assessment of each individual case remains with you.
  • LAW

    Care documentation

Members of the health and nursing care professions document nursing history, nursing diagnosis, care planning and nursing interventions; in self-employed practice, the records must be kept for at least ten years (§ 5 GuKG).

  • LAW

    Document restrictions of liberty

The reason, type, start and duration of a restriction of liberty must be documented in writing (§ 6 HeimAufG).

  • GDPR

    Health data

Care data is health data and therefore a special category of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR). Processing it requires appropriate security (Art. 32).

  • NISG 2026 (NIS2)

    NIS2 only in individual cases

The Austrian NIS Act (NISG 2026) covers healthcare providers within the meaning of the Patients’ Rights Directive (Annex 1). That directive does not apply to long-term care that supports people with routine everyday tasks (Art. 1(3)(a) Directive 2011/24/EU). Whether your organization is covered depends on its services and size.

EXPERTS implements, GRID operates, UNIVERSITY enables your team, NEXT develops further – without handover gaps between different service providers.

  • 02OWN PLATFORM

    Operations with GRID

Monitoring, backup, security and updates work together in one operating model with clear responsibility.

  • 03TRANSPARENCY

    Everything in view with INSIGHT

Tickets, reports and roadmap in one role-based customer portal instead of scattered across emails.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answered
briefly.

Are care homes covered by NIS2?

Not automatically. Healthcare providers are covered; long-term care that supports people with routine everyday tasks does not fall under this term. If your organization also provides medical services, check applicability separately, for example with the NIS2 applicability check.

Does mobile documentation also work without a network?

That depends on your specialist software. We make sure devices are managed, data is protected and connections are secured, and we coordinate offline functions with the vendor.

Can several caregivers share one device?

Yes, with personal sign-in and roles. We clarify in the assessment how this works best with your devices and your specialist software.
