  • NISG 2026 (NIS2)

    NIS2 also reaches suppliers

    Essential and important entities take into account the security of their supply chain, including the relationships with their direct suppliers (§ 32(4)(d) of the Austrian NIS Act, NISG 2026). That is why companies that are not covered may also receive security inquiries from their customers.

  • GDPR

    Security of processing

    The GDPR requires appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as encryption, the ability to restore promptly after an incident, and regular review of the measures (Art. 32 GDPR).

  • EU AI Act

    AI literacy in the team

    Anyone deploying AI systems takes measures to support the AI literacy of their staff (Art. 4 EU AI Act, since February 2, 2025; wording as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744). The regulation does not prescribe a specific level per person.

  • DORA

    IT service providers to financial entities

    Anyone providing ICT services to banks, insurers or other financial entities is an ICT third-party service provider within the meaning of DORA (Art. 3(19)). The contracts are recorded in the customer’s register of information (Art. 28(3)) and must contain key contractual provisions (Art. 30).

  • BAO & UGB

    Seven-year retention

    Books, records, receipts and business letters must be kept for seven years; on data carriers only with complete, orderly and content-identical reproduction until the end of the period (§ 132 BAO, § 212 UGB).

Does TOMORIS replace our internal IT?

Both are possible: we take over the agreed operations or complement your internal IT where it makes sense. What matters are clear responsibilities and a shared approach.

We are not subject to NIS2. Does it still affect us?

Possibly indirectly: covered customers have to take the security of their supply chain into account and therefore send inquiries to their suppliers. With documented measures, you can answer such inquiries transparently.

How do we get started with AI without getting sidetracked?
