TOMORIS EXPERTS / FOR BUSINESSES
Active Directory & servers.Plan the next step.
Modernize on-premises IT: review Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and servers, plan migrations and implement changes in a controlled way. With TOMORIS.
IS THIS A FIT FOR YOU?
Your project.
Our entry point.
Sign-in, DNS, Group Policy and line-of-business applications are interconnected. We make these dependencies visible before any change and derive a workable approach for modernization and hardening.
SERVICES & RESULTS
What you
actually get.
- 01
Current setup and dependencies
Record the agreed server roles, domain controllers, DNS, Group Policy and the connection to Microsoft 365. Include critical applications and backup status.
- 02
Migration and hardening plan
Define target systems, sequence, responsibilities and cutover windows. Prioritize measures for AD, DNS and Group Policy based on your current setup.
- 03
Implementation and functional testing
Carry out the agreed changes in stages and test sign-in, name resolution and affected applications. Document results and remaining tasks.
FROM PROJECT TO HANDOVER
A clear
process.
- 01
Record the starting point
Look at server roles, sign-in paths and critical applications together.
- 02
Clarify goal and sequence
Break modernization and hardening into manageable steps; plan approvals and fallback options.
- 03
Test and implement
Carry out changes based on agreed tests and cutover windows. Handle dependencies and exceptions transparently.
- 04
Hand over with documentation
Accept the functionality together and hand over documentation and open measures to those responsible.
FOR THE FIRST CONVERSATION
What we need
to start well.
- A rough overview of servers, operating systems and virtualization platforms.
- Information on the domain, the Microsoft 365 connection and business-critical applications.
- Points of contact for application approvals, backup and agreed cutover windows.
EFFORT & LIMITS
Clarify first.
Commission transparently.
- 01
Effort and offer
Server roles, data volume, dependencies and existing documentation determine the effort. After an agreed assessment, you receive a proposal with target state, services, your contribution and effort.
- 02
Not automatically included
New hardware, licenses, major line-of-business application migrations, additional backup systems and ongoing support are scoped separately in the offer.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Before you decide.
The key answers.
Do all servers have to move to the cloud?
No. Whether on-premises, hybrid or cloud services fit depends on your applications, requirements and operating conditions. We plan the target state based on this starting point.
Can TOMORIS review AD, DNS and Group Policy?
Yes, within the agreed scope. This includes the assessment, the classification of configurations and dependencies, and a prioritized proposal for changes.
Does TOMORIS support a change of virtualization platform?
We can record existing platforms, server roles, backup and requirements and evaluate a migration path. The specific platform and implementation are agreed after this review.
How are business interruptions taken into account?
We agree on cutover windows, sequence, functional tests and fallback options. The possible impact depends on the affected services and is clarified before implementation.
