You work on structures that carry hundreds of users, critical data, applications and business processes every day.

You are responsible for:

• Server environments
• Virtualization
• Storage
• Backup
• Network fundamentals
• Security elements
• Hybrid services (Azure / M365)

You are not a “ticket processor”. You understand systems, help shape architecture and guarantee stability.

Typical projects:

• Setting up & running Hyper-V clusters
• Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / GPO management
• Building file server and storage environments (NetApp etc.)
• Veeam backup & recovery concepts
• On-prem → cloud migration projects
• Hardening and security optimizations
• Automating and standardizing infrastructure
• Monitoring, logging and incident analysis
• Network projects together with our Network Intelligence team

Your tasks

Operations & support

• Running server and storage systems
• Windows Server / Active Directory administration
• Managing virtualization environments (Hyper-V)
• Monitoring systems & services (monitoring, PRTG etc.)

Projects & architecture

• Helping design and implement infrastructure projects
• Hardening & security measures
• Creating & further developing standards and SOPs
• Contributing to hybrid architectures (Azure, AAD, M365)

Support & troubleshooting

• Handling complex tickets (2nd level / 3rd level)
• Error analysis & root cause analysis
• Performance optimization of systems

Documentation & quality

• Documentation in Notion, Jira, Confluence
• Creating technical concepts & project documents
• Close coordination with the Cloud, Network & Security teams

Must-haves

• Solid experience working with Windows Server & AD
• Basic knowledge of or experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware a plus)
• Understanding of networks (DNS, routing, VLAN, firewall basics)
• Experience with backup (ideally Veeam)
• Clean, structured way of working
• Ability to solve problems logically and analytically
• Professional German & English

Nice-to-have

• Basic Azure / M365 knowledge
• Experience with storage systems (NetApp, SAN/NAS concepts)
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Basic PowerShell knowledge
• Interest in security / hardening
